• Our mission is to provide our residents with experience and training in apartment living skills. Some of our residents will go on to more independent living situations, while others enjoy a long-term home at CareCo.

• Our focus is establishing a meaningful relationship with each of our Residents, by supporting and helping them to meet their own personal goals. Meaningful relationship is key.

• CareCo is dual licensed by the Department of Human Services (DHS), and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). We must meet the strict licensing requirements for a long-term-care facility - including annual but unscheduled, surprise 3-day inspections!

• We recognize that individuals with developmental and physical
  disabilities have the same emotional needs as non-disabled individuals, and we strive to provide a home environment in which emotional needs for retreat, safety and acceptance are met.
